About the Event

Join us at Turkey Run at 3:00 for our informal mid-month gathering. These gatherings are typically smaller and give us the opportunity to get to know each other more deeply, discuss the monthly theme as well as our hopes and actions for the planet. You are invited to bring a poem, story, song or movement to share with us. Our theme this January is Walking the Wildly Sacred Path, Part 1.

With vaccinations shipped and inoculations begun, we begin this year in hope that our global CoVid ordeal will soon be behind us. We gaze ahead in anticipation of maskless socializing and increased activity. Yet as we emerge from isolation, we risk putting on another mask - a mask of tameness and sameness - a mask that restricts our instinctual, intuitive self. In a crowd of voices, we risk not hearing what is whispering in the wind. With a full calendar, we risk external activities crowding the chance of internal guidance. As we move more quickly, we risk not seeing the Divine in the natural world, and we forget that we belong to a greater community.

Part 1 of our 6 part series. What does it mean to walk the wildly sacred path in 2021 and how does the natural world inform our journey?
