for Beltaine Celebration 1:30 PM
RE BELTAINE FROM KATIE:
Please come to our Beltaine Celebration on Sunday May 3 at 1:30 pm in my backyard in Potomac! We will gather to celebrate this Celtic high holiday honoring the fullness of Spring and the shift into Summer and into the light half of the year.
We will begin on my back deck by making crowns of flowers and/or greenery to wear during the ritual. While we make our crowns we will go over what will happen in the ritual which celebrates this fertile time of year and the shift into summer. We will learn a few songs/chants that we will sing in the ritual. No worries about singing ability. Humming along is fine. It is all about making a joyful noise!
