About the Event
There is nothing quite like being among friends or family with whom we can cry one minute and laugh the next. Perhaps you’ve experienced a time during profound sadness when suddenly you are overcome with joy in the same microsecond as the pain. This has happened to me when recalling an amusing story of a loved one who has just passed away.   Wild Earthers (WE) know how to hold both dark and light, pain and joy. This is the work we do. In community WE learn to be present to what is, increasing our capacity for courage, resilience, and even greater love.  The courage alone is contagious. We do not have to do it alone.   Join us Sunday, Jan. 7th at Carderock for communal exploration of our pain and joy in this world today.
