Late Winter Stirring Brings Us to a Crossroads 3:00 PM, Dayspring
Over the past few months we’ve been invited to rest and dream with our winter kin. We’ve found comfort and belonging in winter’s long night and short day. Like bear, racoon, and turtle, we’ve lain low in a generative darkness*. This chilly dark time honors the instincts of our animal selves. It is vital to our living well in a culture that diminishes much that isn’t humanly derived. Now in late winter we begin stirring in our slumber and as we return, we arrive at a crossroads. We can choose to move differently. We can choose to grow with the deepest impulses of our souls as our guideposts. We can be true to our knowing. As we come together we increase our bravery for bold choices, loving and bowing to each transformed creature as they emerge. We plan to be in the pavilion with a fire at Dayspring on Sunday at 3:00 but Jim and I will update you on the conditions Saturday. Register so you receive the update!
