Wild Earth Gathering June 2nd, Carderock 3:00 (Arrive at 2:45 for drumming.We’re hoping to keep drumming happening, friends!)
Active AND Receiving When we come together, typically we spend a few minutes centering ourselves. That trope, “centering,” is well-known in circles like ours. It’s an invitation to be present in the moment. We utilize our breath to calm our nervous system, we release the hectic maneuvering we’ve done just to get here, and we consciously make an effort to quiet the chattering mind. I am aware that we have grown in our capacity to center, release and “just be.” That’s good work. We have found our way to being actively present. It is now time to actively build the group’s receptive energy. This means increasing the work of receiving what is being activated in the group. This builds an energetic force that is connective, kind, and reliable (to say the least). With our coordinated efforts aligning, we create a force of greater good. See you Sunday in the woods!
