Over the five+ years Wild Earth has been gathering there have been a variety of thoughtful, moving, spirit-filled moments. Experiencing the mystery and wonder of slowing down and fully attending to what surrounds us can be magical. Activities which keep us coming back; four directions, communal silence, 20 minute wander, body prayer, singing, chanting, poetry, circling the circle... Other activities may come to mind or something new may be calling you! If so, when you arrive write it down on a piece of paper provided and place it in the hat (or bring it with you). This can be any activity you feel called to share that day with the group. This will provide the content for our time together.
If Wild Earth is new to you simply come and join us, every WE gathering is unique.
We will begin drumming about 2:45. At 3:00 (or when the spirit moves) we will simply choose an activity from the hat! Let’s see what happens in this unstructured summer time together. Sunday, will most likely be one of those humid August days in need of a popsicle, perhaps the trees will cool us. Bring water, bring a chair and we’ll have bug spray if needed.
